Final Curated Blog

100 Words Statement

The penetration of light will form a shadow that can change with the angle inside the space.

The shadow of light passing through the small gaps of opaque material can be used as a decoration.

In my week9 model, I placed parallel long wooden sticks vertically as curtains for French windows. The shadows cast by the light from the gap between each wooden stick overlap or stagger because of the sloping window surface. Played an additional decorative effect. In addition, as the point light source moves, or the movable French window moves, each shadow is unique. Thus, these shadows that change with the light play a good decorative effect.

Benv1010 Week8 Photoshop Materials

The model I choose is from Week7 Model (1)

The material used in the second picture is mainly bamboo, which is used in traditional house in my hometown. Furthermore, the inspiration for the ground floor hanging above the ground also comes from that kind of house.

The materials used in the last picture are mainly marble and crystal, which are some of my personal favorite materials, because they look pure and elegant.

I chose my final model as my photoshopped photos model. The material in this picture mainly contains wood and wall tiles. These are my feelings that Australia house bring to me, warm and close to nature.
